A cup ... and a tooth!!

Rose is now six months old and growing every day! She weighed in at 14 pounds, 7 ounces yesterday and measured 25 inches long which means she is in the 25% for everything so she is kind of petite. She did great at her appointment ... Daddy took her but I met them there ... cause I hated to miss! She has a tooth! On her bottom gum and one more pushing through!!! She loves to hold her own cup of water now and throw it everywhere ... including all over herself! :) Mealtime is a fun challenge now!

Sleep Woes and Sweet Potatoes

Alas ... for three nights in a row my precious Rose slept from 8 to 5 am ... I was in sleep heaven! Last night while daddy was out of town on business, she woke up at 10 pm, 12:30, 1:30, 3:40, 5:30 ... and up for the day at 6:20 am ... "they" tell me that babies will sleep through the night soon .... I think I will believe when I see it for more than three nights in a row!! :) We are definitely taking it easy today!

But I digress--for the fun part--Rosalie loves, loves sweet potatoes! Posting some sweet potatoe face pics for you all to enjoy ... and today marks another special day, Rosalie Grace Baker is six months old today .... so hard to believe that we have been blessed with this sweet angel for half a year already. Time flies when you are having fun! Enjoy the new pics!

Also if anyone reads this blog today, please pray for Ayden Avery Mills having open heart surgery today at Vandy--he is just one week old and the precious baby boy of some dear friends of ours.

5 1/2 Months old

Rosalie is growing so quickly!! We are now feeding her rice cereal in addition momma's milk ... which my husband refers to as "best milk." Today, we tried a new food--avacados--and she loves the taste of avacado! So ... we get to keep feeding it for 4 more days to see if there any allergic reactions and then on to either bananas or sweet potatoes--yum! I bet her daddy can't wait to feed her some avacado tomorrow! I didn't realize how easy it was to make homemade baby food--a little avacado, some formula, and a food processor--and bam! Instant baby food. :) I am excited about this new step! Here are some new pics to enjoy ... :)
